2023 RCLFA Premier League

RCLFA Premier League was concluded on Sunday, the 29th of October 2023. In 2023, we saw 14 teams participating in this year’s Premier League (u13, u15 & u17). Flying Eagles FC were crowned the u13 RCLFA Premier League winners after finishing first on the log with 19 wins, 5 draws and 2 losses from the 26 games that they have played this year. Throughout the season, Flying Eagles FC have scored 96 goals and conceded 36 goals in the process.

Under 15 RCLFA Premier League champions are Wits Junior FC. They have the league with 73 points from 24 wins,1 draw and 1 loss. On Wednesday, the 25th of October Wits Junior nearly lost the league as they suffered their first loss of the league to Stars of Africa (1 – 3). Stars of Africa only needed to win their last two league fixtures against Panorama FC & Gold City Royals FC, however a draw (2 – 2) on Saturday against Panorama FC declared Wits Junior FC as the u15 Champions for 2023.

Stars of Africa FC claimed the u17 RCLFA Premier League for 2023. They have managed to go 25 games unbeaten, while scoring 96 goals and conceding only 29 goals. They have won 24 games and only drawing once against Wits Junior FC. They have one game to play against Gold City Royals FC on Sunday, the 5th of November 2023.

2023 RCLFA Division League’s

Randburg AFC claimed the RCLFA u13 Division-1 league without a loss, and the managed to win 16 games out of 18 and drew 2 games. In the process they scored a whopping 96 goals and only conceded 25 goals. They have managed to win by 10 goals in three separate fixtures against ETS Football (10-0), New Hope Stars FC (10-0) and Shoes Moshoeu Academy (1-10).

EVO FC managed to win the RCLFA u13 Division-2 with 10 wins from the 14 games that they have played. They won the league with 5 points clear of their contenders, Crusaders FC who managed to get to 27 points from the 14 games that they have played. EVO FC only lost to Crusaders (5-3) and to Panorama FC (4-0), both of those fixtures were played away. They drew with Old Parks FC (1-1) and Panorama FC (2-2) at home. They are the second highest scoring team in Div-2 behind Panorama FC who scored 45 goals as compared to them with 40 goals.

RCLFA u13 Div-2 Final Log Standing

Dainfern United FC claimed the title (RCLFA u14 Div-1) after accumulating 61 points from the possible 66 points. They scored 105 goals and only conceding 27 goals in 22 games that they played. Their highest scoring game was against West Rand United where they won by 14 goals to 1, followed by 7-4 win away at Panorama, and 9-0 win against Florida Albion FC.

RCLFA u14 Div-1 Final Log Standing

RCLFA u15 Division-1 & Division-2 was won by Dainfern United FC and New Hope Stars FC. Dainfern United FC played the whole season without a defeat nor draw as they won all 14 games that they have played. They have scored 53 goals and only conceding 6 goals in the process. Iq Football is the only team that managed to score home & away against “The Invincibles” Dainfern United FC.

New Hope Stars FC won 10 games, drew 2 and lost 2 games throughout the season in order to claim the league title. Football Fitness Factory Development FC lost the league on last day of the RCLFA u15 Div-2 after losing 2-0 to the eventual league winners New Hope Stars FC.

RCLFA u17 Div-1 is won by Randburg AFC (The Invincibles) after going 18 games without a defeat. They won 15 games and drew 3 games against Transition Football (3-3), West Rand United (3-3), and Stars of Africa FC (1-1). They have managed to score 62 goals and only conceded 26 goals.

RCLFA u17 Div-2 was claimed by Transition Football with 49 points from the 60 points. In 20 games that they have played, they scored a whopping 74 goals and only conceded 20 goals. Panorama FC is the only team that managed to beat Transition Football throughout the season by 2-0 at Panorama FC grounds at the start of the season.
